This trip helped me reset my mental perspective, most pressingly concerning the way my outward life affects my inner happiness. I haven’t smoked in 4 days which is a start, but I also need to continue to watch and linit my drinking, as well as maintain my diet until its more habit than change. But more importantly, I’ve realized how compressed my stress is. I pack a lot of pressure into my thoughts and I overwhelm myself.

Don’t underestimate the power of an overdue bath and unknown music, and of taking the time to listen to your own thoughts.

There are things I didn’t want to go home to, so I want to be sure I don’t go back to them. But overall, I feel mentally refreshed bc my stresses aren’t work related, they come from everywhere else.
